So it seems I've actually completed a fully detailed image with background for only the second time in... uhh... almost 5 years (bugger). I guess there's something to be said for incessant prodding by friends haha (thanks muchly Damo!).


Critiques welcome. I think the light source should've merited darker shading to the hair & skin, especially since I've wanted to do a strongly contrasting pic for ages :( Future sketchy colouring practice = chance to try it out = potential to go back and fix this later I hope.

Favourite tip of the day:

It sounded interesting enough that I was hesitant to spoil myself with the plot. But I don't see myself buying a DS, and the game is brilliantly anti-piratable: you couldn't play it on any other system. Plot wise, I liked the idea of thinking you've beaten the game and being way off the mark. Also, reliving a week differently, and how they mess with character alliances (what happens to Shiki, and who Joshua is).

Using lyrics in a game soundtrack was intriguing too. A few songs are up at http://www.supload.com/listen?s=MNPWNSLI5XDY (that being my favourite one, the others are listed to the right).

I'm not a journal person. However, I think I might use this as an art blog in the vague hope that I feel a commitment to occasionally update, and thus draw more than once a year.

I think I'm just kidding myself though :P
